Collected Data

Data of business contacts we approach ourselves

We contact Dutch companies by email about our services. If you receive such a message from us, we process personal data that we did not obtain from you directly. Below you can read what that means.

• Which data. Company name, business email address, name and role of the contact person, company website, place of business, company size, company description and public LinkedIn profile.
• Where we obtain it. Public sources: your company website, Google Maps, public business registers and public LinkedIn company profiles. We use service providers that collect and verify this public data.
• Why. To assess whether our services are a fit for your company, and to contact you about that.
• Legal basis. Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our interest is bringing our services to the attention of companies for which they may be relevant. We have weighed this interest against your privacy and limit the impact by using business data only, sending at most two messages per company, and processing every objection immediately and permanently.
• How long. Up to 24 months after the last point of contact. Data of those who have objected is kept solely on a suppression list, so that we do not approach you again.
• Your rights. You can object to this processing at any time, either by replying to our message or via info@swautomation.io. We process your objection immediately and permanently, and will not contact you again afterwards. You have the right to access, rectification and erasure of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Use of Data

SW Automation uses the collected data for various purposes:

• Providing, managing, and improving our services.
• Communicating with you about our services, including providing updates.
• Analyzing statistics to understand and improve the performance of our services.
• Protecting our rights, property, and safety, and those of others.

Cookies and Website Statistics

This website uses analytical cookies only. We do not place advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

• Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor for this purpose, under a data processing agreement.
• PostHog. We use PostHog to see how visitors navigate our website, including anonymised session recordings in which form fields you fill in are masked. The data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt). PostHog Inc. acts as our processor for this purpose, under a data processing agreement.
• These cookies are only placed after you give consent. Until you make a choice, or if you decline, Google Analytics is switched off through Google Consent Mode and no analytical cookies are stored on your device.
• Vercel Web Analytics. For an overall count of page views we use Vercel Web Analytics. This service works without cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
• Retention. Statistical data in Google Analytics is kept for a maximum of 14 months and is deleted automatically afterwards.
• International transfers. When using Google Analytics, data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area. Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
• Withdrawing consent. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. The cookie notice will reappear. If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops immediately and any analytical cookies already placed are deleted.
